Jason Blakemore Jason had the floor bouncing the entire time at Focus with a super heavy Tech House set drawing inspirations from all genres of dance music. There is a lot of energy in Jason’s quirky house sound that dance floor loves.

“twerk” means to “dance in a sexually suggestive twisting fashion

We need less of that?! 😉

Awww no comments on this yet? Damn. Cuz I weantd to know what the masses think. White lady here I WISH I could twerk like I see in a lot of youtube videos (Bet my b/f wishes I could, too, heh. He’s a skinny mexican guy who watches twerk videos, thinks they’re hot. It’s rather endearing.). And, actually, I probably could if I practiced. I have a pretty spadoinkal bubble-butt and thick-ish thighs, so I have something to work with. But that’s not ALL it is, I can see that. It obviously takes control and knowledge to move that area of the body in that particular way.I just watched a video of a woman twerking in church! I thought it was great, but there were a lot of un-fun, up-tight, prudish comments. Then again, I’m not religious and I don’t go to church. But I might if that happened more often. As for white girls trying to be black when they twerk I don’t think so. I’m speaking as a white woman who isn’t ashamed of being such or anything. Then again, I don’t have pride in my whiteness. I’m just white, born that way, die that way, and that’s a-okay. I don’t fetishize black culture, but I admire and appreciate a lot of it, which is a pretty normal biproduct of being born and raised in America. So, speaking for myself: No, a white woman twerking is not an attempt on her part to be black. BUT, it’s very probably that for some white woman, this is indeed the case, at least to some extent.Anyway, I’ll keep checking back to see what others think (black and latina women’s opinions, plz)
